We were very excited to be hosting our First Ladies 3s match for over 20 years.
There were a few nervous faces but it didn’t take too long for us to find our feet.
Confident play from Eveline and Millie, well supported by Freya and Maya. Lovely to see Avelien out on pitch as well as first timers Caroline and Sophie really getting involved and hopefully enjoying themselves once they got their breath back !! Anabel made some really great tackles at the back and got better and better as the game went on.
Thank you to Liz for helping out between the posts and providing valuable guidance to the defence as well as Lucy, Helen, Jade, Kat, Niamh and Eleanor for doubling up.
The result is almost irrelevant (we lost 3-0) as it was just so great to get started. I am sure everyone will continue to improve as they get more games under their belts.
