A week marred by controversy, Suella Braverman caught speeding. The only thing speeding tonight was a youthful beyond his age Martin. Sore foot? Not a doctor, but he dealt with it ?
Vets tour over, and the valley faithful were back with a bang. And for a second week, the men of NPL were here to help.
Formation: 4.3.3
A valley staple.
Man of the match - it's hard to look past hattrick hero Alfie who produced a number of acrobatics and snuck one in from an impossible angle, reminiscent of our very own Neil 'the protractor' Smith. (With Neil stepping down as webmaster and me filling the shoes, I can only apologise for the carnage that is set to come)
But notable mention from me for Brad at right back. Restricted to the right to avoid injury, he spent the night dancing around the wingers and winning back balls he had no right to. Let's just ignore the 1,2,3 hospital passes ?
Luckily the NPL boys up front had already given us a good enough buffer.
Archie - 17, 26, 48
Gordon - 34, 44
Last 3 games, 2-2, 1-1, 5-1 - valley goals, 0. This scoring malarkey is overrated.
Next week - Valley takes Parma ????
