Confidence was high for this match following 2 solid wins and a fairly intense training session on Thursday. After an early scare Chertsey were at their dominant best, pinning Flewshot back into their own half and creating lots of circle penetrations. First to score was Jade from a great run and pass by Harry. After that it becomes a bit of a blur. Familiar patterns of play, pressing, winning, quick passing, goal. Poppy took an unfortunate knock to the eye and had to go off, but apart from that and an incorrectly disallowed goal (which would have been Lottie's first ever) it was all positive. 3-1 at half time and the message was more of the same please. Pretty much nothing was getting through our press, but anything that did was quickly snuffed out by the excellent full backs. Wave after wave of attacks produced 4 more goals and a convincing win.
