Ladies 1’s v Fleet & Ewshot

Let’s start with WOW which has been awarded to Jules for forgetting match report!!
The first half saw CTV playing a very strong offensive game with several shots on goal.
Unbelievably they were all saved!!
All until Holly passed a super ball through to Jade who with an impressive strike of the ball scored Chertsey’s first goal. Finishing the first half 1-0.
After lots of liquid due to the weather being surprisingly humid and some much needed sugar we were ready for the second half.
The oppo came out strong moving and switching there players trying to confuse our defence. But we continued to play strong.
A beautiful ball was played from Lilly to Kat, who was in the D, Kat took a Shot. The ball rebounded off the keeper, which Harry reactive fast and the ball was quickly in the back of the net. With a 2-0 lead we started to relax and play some lovely hockey. Nice clearing from the defence and passed wide to the wings and into the D. Actually stopped counting short corners after 12 !!! We were desperate to get some more goals.
Lucy received the ball and played it around several players in the D, managing to finish with a cracking goal.
